MEET OUR FOUNDER
With an award-winning 15+ year career in space, technology and legal, regulatory and compliance sectors, including her time spent consulting for a number of upstream, downstream and related technology space sector clients internationally, Laura leads our team with acute sector knowledge and an ambition to support transatlantic sectoral growth.
Having recognised the opportunity to create a specialist full-service compliance consultancy with a focus on space and digital economies, Laura founded Albalex to bridge the transatlantic market and to enable all businesses to create, grow and protect their global businesses with the support of a consultancy led by a founder at the forefront of the sector.
Laura has held a Law Society of Scotland practising certificate since 2008, and is a Notary Public. She is a Law Society Certified Specialist in Data Protection and Leadership.
She was awarded In House Lawyer of the Year 2021 at the Scottish Legal Awards for her work with the UK's leading space launch vehicle developer.
